I’m Yas, a full-spectrum doula, antenatal educator and hypnobirthing teacher. My Norfolk base is just outside Norwich, and from here I support families across Norfolk, Suffolk and sometimes Cambridgeshire, from fertility and conception through pregnancy, birth and the months after.
That includes support through pregnancy loss, such as miscarriage, termination for medical reasons (TFMR) and stillbirth, if that is part of your story.
I also have bases in London and Hertfordshire, so if you’re splitting your time between two places, or planning to birth in one and live in the other, I can support you in both. Virtual and hybrid support is available wherever you are.
Please see my London page for more information about my other base.
I support homebirths across Norfolk and Suffolk, including in Attleborough, Aylsham, Burnham Market, Dereham, Diss, Framlingham, Great Yarmouth, Hethersett, Holt, Ipswich, King’s Lynn, Lowestoft, North Walsham, Norwich, Wroxham and Wymondham. I have travelled to Cambridgeshire, and supported Hertfordshire families from both my Norfolk base and my north west London base, which is close to the Hertfordshire border.
I regularly support families exploring their options for homebirth after caesarean (HBAC) and breech birth at home.
Norfolk and Suffolk are big counties, and some families live a long way from Norwich. If you’re further from my base, I can plan to stay closer to you around your due date, so travel is never a worry in labour. Whether you’re looking for a doula in Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire or London, I’d love to hear from you.
I have experience supporting families at all three of Norfolk’s hospitals:
Knowing how each one works means I can help you understand your options, prepare your birth preferences and feel confident in the setting you’ve chosen.
I have also travelled further afield to support families booked at:
I’m very happy to support you at other hospitals and birth centres throughout Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire.
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for all of the work you do. We really couldn’t have hoped for a better doula & support at the birth of our beautiful [little girl].
I believe every family deserves good support, whatever their budget, so there are several ways to make working with me more affordable.
You can spread the cost of your support across your pregnancy, in instalments we agree together.
For families who need extra help, my access fund offers support on a sliding scale, so what you pay reflects your circumstances.
I’m a registered provider with Carrot Fertility. If your employer offers Carrot as a workplace benefit, you may be able to use it towards your doula support. I can provide all the paperwork you need to make a claim.
I’m also very happy to look into any other insurance or benefits you may wish to use towards my services. Just get in touch with what you need, and I’ll do everything I can to make it work.
