Holistic doula support you will cherish forever

I had heard about doulas long before becoming pregnant - usually on television calming an archetypal anxious mum to be. My view was that they provide a service for the pampered... then I fell pregnant with my first child in a global pandemic while being categorised as a high risk pregnancy. I needed something that I was not getting from anywhere else. When I saw Yas' post about her doula service I grabbed at it with both hands, not quite knowing what to expect. I was anxious, alone and ill informed. What I found in Yas was the opposite to what I was looking for - I needed another person to take control and tell me it'd all be OK- instead she guided me with trusted resources for information, important pregnancy/birth questions and an understanding ear. I received so much more than I was looking for, Yas helped me to feel empowered in a way that meant I was able to tell myself it'd be ok... because I was ok. Yas is not a lady who is taking care of women for a job, it really is her calling. She goes over and beyond your expectations and you know you're in good hands. She's a doula who is well informed and that makes a world of difference, it certainly meant for me I could confidently homebirth despite having a heart complication. When going under conventional care you are not really given all your birth choices and options, but Yas ensures you are.
