Doula support in London and Hertfordshire

Full-spectrum doula support across London. Homebirths and hospital births. From fertility and birth through to the postnatal months.

Yas, doula and founder of Birth Beautiful

I’m Yas, a full-spectrum doula, antenatal educator and hypnobirthing teacher. My London bases are in central, north and west London, and from here I support families across the city and into Hertfordshire, from fertility and conception through pregnancy, birth and the months after.

That includes support through pregnancy loss, such as miscarriage, termination for medical reasons (TFMR) and stillbirth, if that is part of your story.

I also have a base in Norfolk, just outside Norwich, so if you’re splitting your time between the two, or planning to birth in one and live in the other, I can support you in both. Virtual and hybrid support is available wherever you are.

Please see my Norfolk page for more information about my other base.

Homebirths

I support homebirths throughout London and Hertfordshire. So far I’ve supported families living in Barnet, Camden, Chelsea, Croydon, Ealing, Greenwich, Hampstead, Harrow, Hillingdon, Hitchin, Islington, Kensington, Kingston, Lambeth, Merton, Richmond, Southwark, Tooting, Tower Hamlets, Wandsworth, Watford and Westminster.

I regularly support families exploring their options for homebirth after caesarean (HBAC) and breech birth at home.

Staying close when it matters

Having several bases means I’m rarely far away. If you live further from one of them, I can plan to stay closer to you around your due date, so travel is never a worry in labour. The beauty of having multiple bases means I can often do this at no extra cost to my clients. Whether you’re looking for a doula in North London, South London, East London, West London or Hertfordshire, I’d love to hear from you.

Hospital births

I support families booked at hospitals across London, including:

  • Barnet Hospital, Barnet
  • Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, Chelsea
  • Croydon University Hospital, Thornton Heath
  • Hillingdon Hospital, Uxbridge
  • Homerton University Hospital, Hackney
  • King’s College Hospital, Denmark Hill
  • Kingston Hospital, Kingston upon Thames
  • The Portland Hospital, Marylebone
  • The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel
  • St George’s Hospital, Tooting
  • St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington
  • St Thomas’ Hospital, Lambeth
  • Watford General Hospital, Watford
  • Whipps Cross University Hospital, Leytonstone
  • The Whittington Hospital, Archway

I’m also very happy to support you at other London hospitals and birth centres. Knowing how each setting works means I can help you understand your options, prepare your birth preferences and feel confident in the setting you’ve chosen.

Beyond her expertise, her presence was incredibly grounding. Her gentle affirmations and calming energy helped me stay centred during what could have been a very stressful time. She created a space where I felt safe, supported, and truly cared for.

Ways to fund your support

I believe every family deserves good support, whatever their budget, so there are several ways to make working with me more affordable.

Payment plans

You can spread the cost of your support across your pregnancy, in instalments we agree together.

Access fund and sliding scale

For families who need extra help, my access fund offers support on a sliding scale, so what you pay reflects your circumstances.

Carrot Fertility

I’m a registered provider with Carrot Fertility. If your employer offers Carrot as a workplace benefit, you may be able to use it towards your doula support. I can provide all the paperwork you need to make a claim.

I’m also very happy to look into any other insurance or benefits you may wish to use towards my services. Just get in touch with what you need, and I’ll do everything I can to make it work.
